The 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer is a smaller clone of its bigger sibling, the Chevy Blazer. After a big design refresh for the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer, the 2025 model adds a new exterior color option, Marina Blue Metallic, and an updated engine. Now, the base engine is calibrated with harder cylinder head valve seat materials. The new calibrations make it E-85 compatible. This year, the small SUV has four trim levels:

The Chevrolet Trailblazer seats up to five passengers in a two-row configuration with a 60/40 split second-row bench seat and ergonomically supportive captain’s chairs in the front row. It’s a more spacious model that offers plenty of legroom for adults in both rows. The attractive interior features are well built with textured and colorful trim pieces that make the cabin feel more upscale than rivals at the same price point. The base model features cloth upholstery, manually adjustable front seats, active noise cancellation, and push-button start.

When it comes to cargo space, with the rear seats raised, the Trailblazer has 25.3 cubic feet of space. With the rear seats lowered, there are 54.4 cubic feet of space, and when drivers need to carry longer items, the front passenger seat can be lowered as well. Upper trim levels feature a hands-free power liftgate that makes loading and unloading the cargo area a breeze.
As stated above, the Trailblazer takes most of its design cues from its larger sibling and looks a whole lot like the 2025 Chevrolet Blazer. Each trim has a few defining features that set it apart. For instance, the ACTIV trim sports a black mesh grille with titanium chrome accents, 17-inch high-gloss black machined wheels, and a functional skid plate that makes it a great model for light off-roading. The RS model has a high-gloss black mesh grille, RS badging, and matching 19-inch high-gloss black wheels. All but the base trim features roof rails and deep-tinted windows.
The Chevy Trailblazer is available in 11 exterior color options including Iridescent Pearl. The following five colors are available as a full body color or a two-toned option with a Summit White roof:
The 2025 Trailblazer has the same base engine as the Chevrolet Trax, which is a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder with 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Also available is a 155 horsepower 1.3-liter engine that produces 174 lb-ft of torque. The base model features a front-wheel-drive configuration, but upper trim levels come standard with all-wheel drive, which gives the SUV better traction during inclement weather and off-road excursions.
