With the release of the redesigned 2025 Chevrolet Equinox, the SUV enters its fourth generation wrapped in a rugged exterior design that mimics its larger linemate, the Chevy Traverse. The 2025 Equinox received a huge interior redesign that includes a new center console and two large displays – an 11.0-inch digital gauge cluster and a slightly larger Google-based infotainment system. The exterior features bold lines, available two-tone color options, and an overall adventurous appeal. Under the hood is an updated 4-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable engine (CVT) and standard front-wheel drive (FWD).

The redesigned interior is the biggest improvement over the 2024 model of the Equinox. The two-row SUV has plush seating for five people with plenty of space for children and adults to feel comfortable in both rows. The front seat has a generous 40.9 inches of legroom and the second-row sports nearly the same amount at 39.9 inches. Child safety seats can be easily installed with two full sets of LATCH connectors on the rear outboard seats and a tether anchor in the middle rear seat.
When it’s time for a road trip or a large grocery run, drivers will find a spacious cargo area behind the rear seat with 29.8 cubic feet of space. The 60/40 split-folding second-row folds flat to reveal a total of 63.5 cubic feet.
The base model features cloth upholstery, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Higher trim levels exchange cloth for Evotex and suede microfiber upholstery, and depending on the trim and options selected, Chevy adds available power-adjustable front seats, ventilated front seats, driver’s seat memory, and heated rear outboard seats to the 2025 Equinox. Active noise cancellation blocks out most road and wind noise so passengers can enjoy conversation, music, podcasts, and more.

The Chevrolet Equinox exterior design is daring for the 2025 model year. All three trims are perfect everyday drivers.
